MCC Singapore’s Two Consecutive Property Launches Gain Market Recognition

On 7 May 2021, One Bernam, MCC Singapore’s first high-end commercial and residential mixed-use project in Singapore’s core business district was launched. As a mixed-use residential and commercial development in Singapore’s prime location after a gap of eight years, One Bernam has attracted a lot of attention from buyers upon its launch. Due to the pandemic, the property was opened for sale in phases. According to data from 9 May, 80% of the 100 units opened for sale in the first phase were sold in the first weekend of the opening of One Bernam, and 90% of the units sold were one- or two-bedroom units, purchased mainly by Singapore Citizens and Permanent Residents.

One Bernam is located in the heart of the CBD, Singapore’s economic and cultural development hub, overlooking Sentosa and the future Greater Southern Waterfront, enjoying the city’s bustling and vibrant lifestyle. Occupying a land area of 3,846.2 square metres, the 99-year leasehold 35-storey development comprises 32 floors of 351 residential units, one floor of serviced apartments and two floors of retail space, making it a high-end mixed-use development that includes residential apartments, serviced apartments, and shopping malls. One Bernam is strategically located in Tanjong Pagar, one of the most important commercial development areas in Singapore and is surrounded by a number of historic districts and buildings with a strong Southeast Asian influence.

Tanjong Pagar is also one of the key areas in the transformation of Singapore's CBD, which will undergo an “urban transformation” from an office-based business district to a more dynamic and livable integrated living community. In addition, the Greater Southern Waterfront to the south of One Bernam is also a key development prioritised by the Singapore government. With a total area of over 2,000 hectares, the Greater Southern Waterfront will be developed into a modern new city with urban living, recreation, and business functions, becoming one of Singapore’s ‘green lungs’.

Singapore’s famous resort, Sentosa, will also be upgraded along with the future development of the Greater Southern Waterfront in conjunction with Pulau Brani. By then, residents of One Bernam will be able to enjoy exciting leisure and lifestyle experiences without having to travel far.

Moreover, One Bernam is surrounded by a variety of shopping malls and food centres, enjoying the convenience of an established city centre. Located close to Cantonment Primary School, the only public primary school in the CBD, One Bernam is also surrounded by a number of prestigious higher education institutions, including Singapore Management University, LASALLE College of the Arts, and Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts (NAFA).

In addition to the excellent educational resources, the property is only a four-minute drive from the Singapore General Hospital, the largest and oldest public hospital in Singapore which houses the highest standard of medical care, as well as four private clinics in the vicinity, including Raffles Medical.

The Provence Residence executive condominium project is MCC Singapore’s seventh residential project in northern Singapore and is also another exotic project by MCC Singapore following the Greek island-inspired The Santorini condominium project and the Swiss Alps-inspired The Alps Residence condominium project.

About a week after the launch of One Bernam, Provence Residence took over the baton and was successfully launched on 13 May 2021. As of 15 May, more than half of the property’s units have been sold in three days, with a total of 220 units, or about 53% of the units sold. 82% of the units sold are threebedroom units, while premium three-bedroom units and four-bedroom units account for 11% and 7% respectively.

Located at Canberra Crescent in northern Singapore, the Provence Residence executive condominium is named after the romantic southern French city of Provence and is designed with French royal courtyards and country estates in mind. Drawing inspiration from modern French style, the project focuses on the perfect blend of beauty and elegance, bringing a sense of style and modern simplicity to French elegance and beauty.

Located at Canberra Link in Sembawang, the Provence Residence executive condominium project comprises 413 residential units. Situated in the heart of Canberra, Provence Residence is only a five-minute walk from the Canberra MRT Station, and is surrounded by food courts, shopping malls, restaurants, supermarkets, tuition centres and childcare centres, making it a one-stop location to satisfy daily needs.

With a lush green landscape and a crystal clear 50-metre pool, the landscape and amenities of the Provence Residence executive condominium project are designed to highlight the elegance of French modern living.

Inside and out, the interior design of the condominium units is also filled with French elegance and style. The black, grey, and white colour scheme along with famous Swiss home appliances will satisfy those with high-end taste. For the residents of Provence Residence, home is intoxicating like a romantic journey.

Including the two projects that were launched in May this year, MCC Singapore has developed 17 commercial and residential complexes, condominiums, executive condominiums, and other real estate projects through sole proprietorship, joint venture and management, with more than 8,000 residential units and a total saleable area of over 600,000 square metres, transforming lives for millions of owners.

MCC Singapore has been ranked among the Top Ten Property Developers in Singapore for four consecutive years and has received Asia’s Top Influential
Brand Award as well as Singapore Prestige Brand Award (SPBA) Global Brands Award. At the same time, as an integrated urban operator in transition, MCC Singapore has established its presence in all corners of the island city-state and is gradually expanding its business to other countries and regions, creating a new model of third-party cooperation between China and Singapore.
