On August 14, 2024, MCC Singapore is proud to announce its successful bid for the Resorts World Sentosa (RWS) Waterfront Development Project in Singapore. This milestone not only highlights MCC Singapore's exceptional capabilities in specialised projects but also further solidifies our leadership position in the Asia-Pacific market.
The RWS Waterfront Development Project aims to enhance the accommodation capacity and service standards of Resorts World Sentosa. The project plans to construct one 16-story hotel and two 17-story hotels at 8 Sentosa Gateway (Greater Southern Waterfront), totalling 700 five-star and six-star rooms. The podium will be designed with four levels, including facilities such as restaurants, an all-day dining restaurant, banquet halls, bars, a casino, and clubs. Additionally, the project will introduce new waterfront attractions (Free Show), expand and renovate the existing seaside boardwalk to support a driverless transportation system, and extend the current underground carpark. The total construction area will reach 274,000 square metres, with a construction period of 60 months. Upon completion, the Sentosa waterfront area will welcome a more modern and luxurious hotel complex.

This successful bid marks a new phase in the deepening collaboration between MCC Singapore and Resorts World Sentosa. This partnership was firmly established with the Universal Studios Singapore (USS) project, which significantly strengthened mutual trust. As a major industrial project contractor, MCC Singapore successfully undertook the large-scale construction project, USS, completing it within 18 months and setting a new milestone in the history of world-class theme park construction. USS filled a gap in large-scale overseas theme park project contracting by Chinese enterprises and earned 18 patents, as well as international awards such as the Singapore Green Mark Platinum Award, the Metallurgical Industry Quality Award, and the China Construction Luban Prize.
Subsequently, MCC Singapore undertook the construction of Minion Land as part of the enhancement and renovation works at Universal Studios Singapore, adding new attractions to Resorts World Sentosa and offering global tourists more exciting travel options.

圣淘沙滨海区域酒店扩建项目旨在提升圣淘沙名胜世界的住宿容量和服务水平。该项目计划在8 Sentosa Gateway（南部海滨规划区）建设1栋16层楼和2栋17层楼的酒店，总共设有700间五星级及六星级客房。裙楼设计为4层，包括餐厅、宴会厅、全天餐厅、酒吧、赌场及俱乐部等设施。项目还将新增海滨景点（Free Show）、扩建和改造现有海边栈道以实现无人驾驶交通系统，并对现有地下车库进行扩建。总建筑面积达27.4万㎡，工期为60个月。项目完工后，圣淘沙滨海区域将迎来一个更加现代化、豪华的酒店综合体。
